APPLICATION FOR GRADUATE STUDIES

Procedure

Please follow these steps carefully. Incomplete applications shall not be processed.

  1. Complete the application form and make sure that the required fields (*) are filled.

  2. You may modify your application form as long as your form is not submitted to Center for Graduate Studies yet.

  3. These are the following documents that are needed to be uploaded into this system for Graduate Studies:
    • Degree(s) certificate,
    • Examination transcripts,
    • A research proposal (for PhD and Master’s by research only),
    • IELTS/TOEFL score results (for international candidate only) IELTS Score of 5.5 or its equivalent (eg TOEFL - 525, TOEFL Computer Test - 196, TOEFL Internet Test - 69 – 70).

  4. For admission into the PgDip Progamme, a candidate must meet the following criteria: 
    • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent from institutions approved by UNIMAS Senate OR
    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent but CGPA less than 2.50 may be admitted subject to a minimum of five years’ working experience in the relevant field AND
    • For international students, an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (i.e., TOEFL-525; TOEFL Computer Test-196; TOEFL Internet Test 69-70) is required, in addition to the entry requirements stated above
